What we need to know when you need new gear, be sure to include the following info
Please include the following when asking about new gear: - Make/model/year/body type (regular cab, extended cab, etc.) of the truck you're working on.
- What kind of HU you are using. We need to know if you are using stock, or after market.
- What speakers you have- size and location.
- If you need speakers: do you have subs?, are these going to be the only speakers you have? are you going to run an amp?
- What is your budget. You need to figure money for other stuff besides the speakers, amp, etc.
- Any other info that might help us help you.
- Are you willing to cut your doors, etc.
- Do you have the skills / tools, etc. for a proper install? Or are others doing the installation?
Hope this helps some when someone needs info on what speakers they need. It makes a difference on what someone will recommend if you need, say door speakers, and you have subs, and will amp the replacement speakers.

A very obvious question... Goals. Are you simply wanting to be the loudest on your block (SPL), or are you wanting something very accurate (SQ), or is your goal simply budget?
