want to install a system in my 86, does anyone know of any tech articles on doing it??

What do you want to install? A "system" can mean different things. To me a system consists of a HU, subs, mids, and highs- with amps to power all drivers. It also includes the wiring needed to hook it all up, and the box for the subs. Then you have to see if your amps have built in cross-overs, or do you need a separate active x-over.
To you a system might mean a HU, and a pair of really good components or 2-ways. Have you read the stickies at the top of this section? Read them and then report back to this thread.
