dnx 8120 question

hey pretty sure im gunna pick up a dnx8120 two questions

i have a 03 chevy 1500hd do i need anything other then the 8120 to install it and make it look factory?

i know its possible to use usb flash drives to play movies but is it possible to use say a 500gb external usb harddrive? and anything special involved in making it work?

hey bro i got the same unit for my NNBS. I was wondering the same thing. From the stuff Ive read, any hardrive over about
250gb and its going start lagging or messing up somehow. Plus you have to wire the bigger HD's to a powersource. Im going to put my 250GB (SelfPowered) Western Digital Passport in my Dash and load with movies. Just make sure that they are organized.I will also put my Ipod in there aswell for music purposes.

cool let me know how it works out im really curious to know it wont make a differnece in if i buy it or not but i would be kick ass to have all my movies on a Hard drive so i dont have to have a bunch of dvds.

also if you havnt tried this yet i read somewhere that the hard drive has to be FAT32 for it to work but in not sure if theres any truth to that.

It's been a while but any update to the movies playing off the WD portable? I am really thinking about getting one of these headunits and would like to know if that would work.
