I have full coverage with Grange. But don't get them unless you like claims taking upwards of 3 weeks to be taken care of. The difference between liabilty and full coverage was $3 (Three) a month so why not.

I have full coverage with State Farm, but they'll probably try to screw me if it ever gets hit. To them, it's just a worn out 21 year old beater truck.

Edit: you are correct. Last I knew, Hagerty required an appraisal for anything over 10k

Yeah, but Hagerty is real easy. Took some pics and sent them in. You can basically pick a replacement value and your premium will reflect that value. From what I've heard they are low hassle on claims if your replacment value is in the ball park. The only bad part is the driving restrictions. It's hard to have your cake and eat it too. Let us know how it works out.

I had State Farm. Didn't have full coverage, cause with people like LMC why would I? However with for lack of a better term a direct deposit is cheaper than writing a check or whatever. People kept telling me to get Historical plates on either of my rides but seeing both will be properly driven

Re: Classic Guys Post the Name of Your Trucks Insurance Company
on my very beat up '65 c10:

I have State Farm - liability with more $$$ coverage than is required by Georgia State law(to cover my butt), plus roadside insurance for towing, etc., which I wound up having to use last month.

I also have regular truck plates on my truck as I drive it all the time.

I think I'm paying about 170-180 every six months.

Progressive with full coverage on my 1989 burban... plus $2000 of extra-crap-bolted-inside coverage (bags, tanks, compressors), as well as uninsured motorists & prolly some other chit I can't remember. $69 per month.

But yeah, I'm with Jax - why do I need all this? may downgrade back to liability to save some $$ ... i dunno...

anyways....
