Re: How many of yall have lifted classic's?

This was the second truck I ever built, in my young 20's when I was in the Navy. 6" suspension, 3" body, Triple/Double chrome bed bar, Bushwhacker cutouts, 39x18 (yes 18 wide) x 15 Mickey Thompsons on 15x14" Alcoa wheels, 350 SM465, front/rear ten bolt axles with 3.08s. Believe it or not, the axles held together, it was the transfer case that finally gave out.

Re: How many of yall have lifted classic's?

Oh, and my 1971 K5 that I built from 2002-2005 or so. 6" suspension, 3" body, 38s (I think), 3.73s, 1/2 ton running gear, TH350. I know my way around an old Chevy...

Here's my 1978 Chevy 4x4.

12" Skyjacker Susp.
39" Swampers
Totally re-done from the bare frame.

I'm lookin' to do a lot more to her this coming year, and I need help finding parts and accessories. If you know good websites for me to look at for the following add-ons, please post:

-Aftermarket leather seats (really good ones)
-Door panels with speaker cutouts
-Floor carpet
-gauges and dash kits
-grilles

Re: How many of yall have lifted classic's?

Man I have always wanted a OOBS RCSB with at least 8 inch lift and at least 38s. Either hawgs or boggers. Paint that baby hugger orange.
