i have all the specs on it...actually. it started out as a 1978 Chevy K10 SWB with a 4-speed manual and a 350. the 350 went ****-up so it got a 454 big-block. it had an 8" lift and a 3" body lift for a total of 11" of lift. was running a 14-b FF rear under it and 8-lug outers on the front Dana 44. it got a '99 Dodge split bench seat with power drivers section. it had full factory gauges to include a WORKING tach. it had 3" dual exhaust running from LT headers...with Flowmaster 40-series mufflers. it was running 4.10 gears with an Auburn posi rear. it was a fun truck that i wish i still had but family came first...i will have a nicer truck when i'm done with my '83 Sierra

i'm confused about this...do you mean it's a 4x4 that's using a 2wd frame? i can tell it's got a 4x4 front axle and it looks like a 4x4 but what you said confuses me...

sorry for the confusions. the Cab is off a 2wd truck, so it has a low tranny tunnel. have to have the body lift to clear the transfer case. just a 2wd cab on a 4wd chassis.

Re: How many of yall have lifted classic's?
i got 2- 82 gmc k2500 4x4, drove it off the lot new. has 3" body and 4" springs, 35-12.5 16.5 cepek's now, planning on 37's next time i replace them. pile of new parts for it, cowl hood, both doors, both fenders and inners, cab corners and rockers, bench/bucket, complete dash, headliner, carpet, grill, all lights, changing to 4 headlights. has a goodwrench 4 bolt w/ holley projection and holley intake, jacobs dist, fluidamper, headers and full duals, centerforce, got a pristine front with 4:10's, still need to replace the rear 3:73's and add a locker (no worries, didn't put front driveline back in yet!!)
other project is 81 k5, 4" all spring, 35 12.5 15's, new 355, fresh transfer, still need to finish it and fire it up. bought this one as a project with no engine and a trashed transfer case.

pull the trans hump out of a 465 truck. plug the shifter hole, cut your floor, and bolt it in.

Re: How many of yall have lifted classic's?
I have a 86 Chevy Silverado K10 lifted 4" on 33's. I just recently recently got my motor in. I built a 350 putting out 371 on the dyno. My next project is a frame off restoration. It's a different color of blue. It's really dark, but I love it. Keep the ol ones alive
