How many of yall have lifted classic's?
Curious to see how many of yall have a lifted 73-87 Chevy or GMC!!
I got a 1975 GMC Sierra K-15 4x4 with just a 3" body lift and 3" front block lift and 31's, but going to be getting either a 8" lift or 12" Suspension lift and going to run 40"-44" tires.
So let's see how many of yall have lifted classic's!!!

Word of advice, keep it off the street if you have blocks in the front.

I would love to build up a truck to look like Billy Bob's in "Varsity Blues"! That truck is sweet!

Re: How many of yall have lifted classic's?
lol wasnt sure but i figured i would let you know, alot of ppl tend to use them around here. Seen a jeep with blocks go off the road due to them bending or buckling. No on was seriouly hurt but it could of been worse.
sry

Re: How many of yall have lifted classic's?
You lucky bastards I only have a 2wd, it's the weirdest truck ever tho - it still has the stock springs both front and rear, yet it sits high like it's got some 2-3" lift (well, for a 2wd at least), and mind you that's with engine and tranny significantly heavier that stock - I'd like to see how it was when it rolled off the assembly line, must have been riding on the upper bump stops!

My 75, about a 3 inch lift with 33's. My buddy's building an 87' 1 ton, 8" lift on 37's, its in the works now.
I can never get the pics to show up when i put the link in, I can't figure it out.

Re: How many of yall have lifted classic's?
Here was my 74 with 4" sping lift and 37's on Beadlocks. They fit with the Bushwhacker flares.
I stipped this truck down to nothing to build my Crew Cab out of it.
This picture was about 2 weeks later.
The crew cab is half built at this point with the same 4" lift and 37s/beadlocks and bushwhacker flares.
Almost ready for paint. Still need to trim and install the front flares.

Re: How many of yall have lifted classic's?
Here's my beater again. 6" lift, 35's. All springs...blocks are bad. The truck on Varsity Blues is bad ass. That is the truck that I originally wanted to build, but oh well.
