Re: Couldnt hold out any longer
nice progress! Like was mentioned before, you'll need to rig up a hoist to get the bed off. If you throw some plywood under the bed (under the cherry picker wheels) then you should be able to roll the bed to where ya need it. Sorry I haven't kept up more with this thread, seems I'm having an "out-of-internet" experience, should be fixed sometime in the next day or so.

should be able to get chain hoist and then lift it up from your rafters and roll the truck out from underneath it.

Re: Couldnt hold out any longer
he already said for shipping it was yours. So figure up shipping and have a money order ready for him. PM him when you are ready to rock and I'm sure he'll respond.

If I pay for the shipping? Alright. I'm not good at that math stuff. I pmd him like almost aweek or two ago, whatever it takes to git it. If I send him a money order he'll ship it thats cool.

Good progress on the build. I bet its tough getting stuff done with the weather and all. I love watching these builds progress. I'd love to do something like this one day.

Re: Couldnt hold out any longer
Jak dude, PM ME. im not chasing your butt down. you want it you get ahold of me.

Anyways guys, i had to set my project back a few days. A woman friend of mine has a 97 jeep and needed some work done, so i been busy it needed all this:

New exhaust manifold, other was broke in two places not her previous owners doing. she never takes it off road. axle came up and bent the exhuats and almost sure it caused the cracks and break.

complete tuneup.

had to replace the rear end. There was a hole in the rear axle. I mean a hole about a golf ball size and someone put silicone over it to hide it....leaked and caused trouble in the rear. I just finished replacing that this morning.

replaced the clutch fan and radiator. had a whole in the radiator and fan wouldnt work...

Its her only transportation and she cant afford a shop.

I am getting a cpl dozen cookies and some experience for doing all this..

So i will be all done today with the jeep so hopefully ( being v- day the gf wants to cuddle and hang out, cant she understand thiers a vehicle to be worked on, geez....jk) i can get working on getting this bed off and everything else stripped down. I am so itching to get this truck naked......

I actually got someone who is down the road from me and he has a bob cat. i made made friends and offered him a case a beer and steaks for bringing the bobcat down and lifting the bed and cab off. So soon hopefull. Ground is way to soft for him right now but soon.....
