My buddy has a 69 with a 3:73 rear, same hieght tires I have with the 5.3 4L60E combo and he got just shy of 20 with his last fall. Mine has a 3;08 gear, we are hoping for lower 20s on the highway, maybe better. we'll see what EFI live will let us do! HE HE
So is EFI Live an aftermarket computer, or just an aftermarket tuner? And did you go with the 4l60 or 4l80?

EFI live is a tuning programer. Similar to a hand held, but runs on a lap top, and you can do WAY more cool stuff with it.

I am using a factory PCM with all of the EGR, CATS, and Antitheft goodies removed, among other things.

I have the 4L60E.

It is well worth the head ache's.

Does that allow you to disable all those things you're not using, so that it will run properly without throwing codes? Sounds like you've got a pretty sweet setup for $2500!

Ya we fired it up first time out, no codes at all. I was extreamly pleased. I wired it my self with assistance from a pal who had been in on a few swaps. Do as much your self as you can to keep your cost down.

Ya I think I got off CHEAP!!
