Re: 73-87 roll call...
Yeah, but then the TPI baseplate would have to be an 87+ to match the different intake bolt angles. Possibly an 87+ top end on a pre-87 shortblock?

Re: 73-87 roll call...
that is most likely an '86 TPI engine. in '86 you had the outer-bolt valve covers and the TPI intake/fuel system.

Re: 73-87 roll call...
everything intake up is off an 86 305 camaro, that i have increased to run my 350. the heads and block are off a 90 somin Throttle body truck. the only big difference is i had to change the bolt hole alignment on the intake. does that help the confusion. I wanted a TBI block so i could put in roller cam and and lifters easily. and the 86 Tuned port is a MAF so it adapts easier for me.

Yes, that clears it up.

So Tonx, how much did you end up stealing that truck for?

Well since I found a photo sharing site I can use at work, here are some pics of mine. 86 1/2 ton Silverado. 3/5 drop is in Fed-x hands right now and a '97 crate 350 is in the garage.

Hey, Beaumont TX. How about some details, like suspension mods. Looks like it's been down the strip from the shoe polish on the windsheild.
