Re: 73-87 roll call...
Got a small fleet here.

83 C1500 pick-up. 6.2 diesel, 700R-4, all 100% stock and unmolested. Original paint. Drives like a dream, and is cheap enough on fuel to use as my Daily driver (18 city, 26 highway)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...p/IMG_0959.jpg

81 K5 Jimmy. 6.2 diesel, NV4500, NP205/NP203, D60 front, 14 bolt rear, 4.56's, Detroit, 4 wheel disc's, 12 point roll cage, full convertable, 7" total lift with custom alcan springs, Bilstein shocks. Currently being de-constructed.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...5/IMG_0035.jpg

87 Chevy C30 Crew Cab short box. Ugly as hell, but remarkably solid. TBI 350, Hydro SM465, 4.10's...new project. All the good stuff from the K5 is getting used on this build. Will have a 5 1/2' short box and a 136" wheelbase when done. 4-5" of lift and 37" MT's on H2 rims

Re: 73-87 roll call...
like shootin fish in a barrel eh? my buddy's 75 K1500 gets that duty alot at the construction sites he works at. i talked him into a set of 235 85 16s on the stock 7" wheels, and those things just eat and eat. pretty funny to watch a 30+ year old truck that's obviously been flopped on its side more than once pull out a $50K+ diesel crewcab.

omg ur tellin me. there's this pretty new F350 up here on 40's thats got all kinds of exterior crap done to it (bushwackers, 100ft CB antenna, spare tire rack, etc.) and i was cruisin down the highway when i see it in the center median stuck in about 2feet of snow. tried to flip a bitch and it took him. pretty funny.

Re: 73-87 roll call...
I just bought an 85 silverado. It is black/teal now but that will change. It has a 350 in in but leaks oil everywhere. I will be tearing the truck down soon for a full build.

Re: 73-87 roll call...
It is 2wd and unfortunatly it is a long bed. I have seen a few nice longbeds so I will go with it. To me the longbeds look better lifted, but I will probably lower this one down. I saw a really clean red one that was sharp.
