I have an 82 SWB stepside
355 sbc
700 r4
10 bolt 3:42
Looks like Granpa's truck
Beats the "new" trucks (99-03's)
I love that look of disbelief when all they can see is tailgate.

I don't have any pics yet as they are both still sitting at their respective farms but I just bought a 76' Crew Cab Dually, 2wd, 454,t400,4:10,A/C. When I finish my "Siescalade", I am going to bodydrop this one and bag it. I also bought a 78' C30 LWB 2wd, 454,t400,A/C(bought this for the motor & parts....)

My Dad is doing an 87' 2wd swb. 5-5 drop,91 GMC sub clip,shaved tailgate,cowl hood,black.... I can't convince him to bag it

don't feel bad my 85 has a 305 and with my old rear end which was posi and highway gears she couldn't do a burnout to save herself. I put in a 12bolt 3.73 non-posi and she can smoke them a hell of alot easier, and off the line every now and then for quite awhile. If I keep the truck for a little while longer I think I'll go big block.

I plan to get my engin cleaned up with a new comp cam, edelbrock performer 700cmf carb, edelbrock performer intake manifold, thorley headers, pacer wheels, get a new paintjob, and maybe drop it a few inches. If anybody knows of better parts or more that would make a nice edition to my truck let me know.

May not look like much but its going to turn some heads when i am done!

keep in mind that this is only paint not photoshop and it was done real quick but this is what I'd do to your truck. And those were the only rims on my computer at the time.
