Re: 73-87 roll call...
notice that even in my sig p'shop they are still on there...most everyone on here is going to a blacked-out look or something else that looks more "cutting-edge". yes, that looks good on some applications, but my truck will have plenty of chrome on it. not too much, because "Chrome don't get ya home" but it's gonna have some...like mirrors, grille (89-91) and i'm still on the fence about some factory trim (i don't care what others say, i like it on some vehicles, it looks like a damn work truck without it...)

I agree 100%.. I really like your paint scheme with the black...Thats something i was thinking of...but i really like orange but not sure what id do with it? You know straight orange and i look like a rollin cheeto

I am prolly gonna go black with some kind of 2 tone, a stripe, or something..not sure

Re: 73-87 roll call...
see, i'm on the fence about paint. here are my two ideas...i'll bounce 'em off ya. first i wanna explain the trim...see, i'm all about sticking to a theme. so if i run a 89-91 front grille, i'm gonna go with 89-91 GMC trim...meaning the black/chrome rub strip and the SLE badges on the B-pillar...inside the same thing...i'm gonna customize, but i like the use of factory badging/trim too...

ok, anyhow, onto my paint ideas. one is like pictured..black/silver two-tone, with black being the leading color...with the cowl hood and 35th anniversary style Camaro SS racing stripes running up it in the same silver...here are the stripes if you haven't seen 'em...

then the other is more simple. just a nice, dark silver with the black Camaro stripes...course there are some blues i like too...but i'm kinda stuck on black or silver or a combo of the two...

Well I am new so I havnt figured everything out yet but I have a 77 Chevy C10. I just payed $1500.00 and the motor is worth that. Chromed out and beefed up 305 with an Edelbrock 4brl. It passes everything but the gas station. LOL This is my 4th Chevy Silverado. I have had an 82, 83,84 and now a 77.

Show off....lol

Just kidding. That is a sweet truck..Real nice, and some chrome would definatly give it a little extra ......

Imo a nice shiny chrome roll bar would look really sweet up there but not a triple...Just my 2 cents...But sweet ride.
