Re: 73-87 roll call...
if you really don't like it being a longbed, you can convert it to a shortbed...a few people have done it...

Re: 73-87 roll call...
that is a ton of work. I would not begin to tackle that, unless u have lots and lots of time and tools. maybe buying a shortbed pickup is the way to go. The short beds are not that hard to come by are they?

Re: 73-87 roll call...
I dont mind the longbed too much. I will deal with it, but if I come across a shortbed I might get it. There are two nice ones sitting around town but they dont want to sell, they just sit in the yards to rust.

It's a 84 Chevy, SBC 350, Vortec Heads, Demon Carb, Edelbrock Air Gap Intake, TH350, 3.73 gears, 17 x 9.5 rear wheels, 17 x 8 front, Ostrich Skin Interior with painted Billet trim pieces. It is definitely a lot of fun to drive. The only future mods I have planned are some bigger wheels and tires. Yeah it's been down the strip a couple of times. So far, the best time is a 12.61 on motor. I've got a 150 shot of juice I'll put to it the next trip. |

At first I took this as a sly little attack, but then I thought about it and realized that my truck was indeed built... by GM. So I guess it's a real truck ![]()
