no, you dont, its an R30, check your VIN, it will say R3 right in the VIN. if it says C3, you better check the year, because its not an 87. there were no C/K trucks in 87.

Just wanted to thank you guys for the info and let you that the website for decifering casting #s was a big help.

It hurt my feelings when it show me that my motor is a 305 and not a 350. Well I guess its time to start shopping for a motor. The motor needs a rebuild, so its not worth it to me to rebuild a 305.
