Re: TH 350 kick down cable
From what I gather its leaking from where the kick down cable attaches to the trans. I have not seen the problem yet, Im just goin on what he says. Im just looking for advice, on how it mounts, could there be a seal that was forgotten? Just so that I have a little better understanding of what Im lookin at when I get to the truck. And no its not being driven. Im sure its just a matter of improper installtion, but I dont know what to look for. Sorry for the lack of info, hopefullt I can get under the truck soon and give a little more detail on it.

Re: TH 350 kick down cable
there is a sleeve that slides into the transmission before the cable slides in, that will prevent the leaking. I had the same problem on mine, i went to gm and told them that i need the seal for where the kick down cable goes into the transmission. Thats what it probably is.

Re: TH 350 kick down cable
are kickdown cables really necessary? i haven't had mine even attached to the carb linkage since i've owned it. seems okay.
