Lightbulb Color Ideas...
My truck wasn't a project until some lady tried to drive under the side of it.... That aside, now it's going to be a project and I don't quite know the route I want to go. I'm not a big stickler for keeping it like it rolled out of the factory, unless it was a special edition or something. I'm pretty sure I want to keep it the silver it is now, but I may not, who knows. I always liked the two tone paint schemes for the 73-80's and may paint mine in a two tone. So anyone with Ideas, let me have em! I'm up for anything that basically follows the paint schemes it could have had new Show me your two tones that are other colors too, If I saw something I had to have I'd do a color change on it. The side trim and all chrome and badging WILL be staying like it is, but the mirrors will be changed since they are mismatched and it annoys the crap out of me. I may get dumbos or the small tripods like came factory on these trucks.
Here's some basic ideas I came up with in MS Paint (it's all I have.)

Here's how it is currently, solid paint

Here's some of my ideas..

I kinda like the red one, But the exact shades of silver and red haven't been determined yet.

I have other ideas, but using paint to work on this is a royal PITA.

Thanks ahead guys

Re: Color Ideas...
Id go with true red to match the interior
or black with a red stripe down the middle of the chrome trim to match the interior.

Id hit the cardomain website and query in on your year, then look at the different options and get a real world perspective on it. Thats what Im doing for my suburban. I have a whole folder full color combos.
