Re: 1991 K350?
I just thought it looked funny. It is obviously not a 91, and I didn't think they ever offered a shortbed dually.

It really doesn't look bad at all!

Re: 1991 K350?
Could it be one of those one off creations from some company other than GM??I have seen a couple of those in the last few years. One of the engineers at a company I worked for had what I believe was a 94 or 95 1500 4 door that was custom built and looked like it came from the factory.

Re: 1991 K350?
you are mistaken, GM did not offer them. there may be conversion companies out there that made them, but then it is not a factory truck anymore. NO 1 ton EVER left the factory with a bed any less than 8 feet. i've seen the model numbers, and none of the 1 ton numbers mentioned a shortbed. 3/4 tons were available in crewcab shortbed after 97 or 98, but no 3/4 ton duallies exist either.

Re: 1991 K350?
There are two around me that are shortbed's. I'm almost positive that the body dropped white one from...... i can't remember the name of the shop. There was a white one that is bodied with like hummer door handles or something and in a feature of it in sport truck i think it says how it was a factory shortbed.

Re: 1991 K350?
Centurion conversions is a company, that alters factory trucks. I remember seing a 1997 1/2 ton crew cab, short bed, new, on the chevy lot. It was a $10,000. + option, added to the sticker. They took a 3/4 ton crew cab, long bed, cut the frame to make it a short bed, and removed the 3/4 ton suspension, and added a 1/2 ton suspension. Then in 1998, this truck was made by GM.

Re: 1991 K350?
GM didn't offer one, to the general Public, but they did build a few for some of the GM employees, the higher up employees, but yes they did make a few from the factory.

Re: 1991 K350?
sorry, with all the tooling and special machine setup required, i'm pretty sure GM isnt going to do that just for a few trucks. doesnt matter if God himself wants one. if it were tooled up at the factory, GM would offer it to the public.

dont know everything, but have seen the GM documentation, and no crewcab shortbed dually has never been a factory option.
