Heres the classic Im goin for...
Been lookin for some sort of older truck for a project for awhile.....Been trying to ditch my 96 for awhile too and no go.
So I saw this ad: http://thunderbay.kijiji.ca/c-cars-v...QAdIdZ77916162 and offered him to trade for my 96: (I took the 17s off and am giving K5 alum wheels and 235/75s) http://thunderbay.kijiji.ca/c-cars-v...QAdIdZ74806655 So,what do you guys think??? I plan to just do the body semigloss black or semigloss charcoal grey, some suspension and frame work, and the other stuff I need for inspection, and maybe 37s on 17s or 20s...Its hard to find something in decent shape up here ![]()

hmmm. well that body style wasnt my favorite but that doesnt mean it cant be yours or a good looking truck. i think you must want it kinda bad to trade for the 96. good luck with which ever you decide.

judging by his missing cab corner, he's familiar with that battle.

Re: Heres the classic Im goin for...
Yeah my 96 is less than great almost 300k on it,needs rear main seal,oil pump,oil pan gasket,gas line,sending unit,gas tank,cab corners,paint & body,etc. Have too many 88-98 style trucks too LOL
Yes the battle is ongoing up here...I am I retired bodyman though so its kind of fun for me I guess, once in awhile. ![]()

Re: Heres the classic Im goin for...
Yes I retired lol.....Couldnt stand doing it in someone elses shop anymore making them rich. Couldnt stand having thousands of dollars invested in tools that Id never use for my own use because they would be locked up in someone elses shop. Now Ive got all my tools in my own garage and got myself a pretty good lets call it "part time" job.
