Thumbs up Few pics of my '55 big window Chevy
Here it is guys. Minimal rust, and a big window. Perfect starting point for my project.

In this pic you can see the bed standing on end in the back of the garage.

Here is a pic of the rebuilt 350 that resides in it right now. I has a Muncie 4spd. behind this motor. All of this will be replaced with a LS1 and a 4L60E during the resto-mod process.

Thanks for looking guys. What do ya'll think? A good start?
Hell yeah! Let us know how you progress!

I think you should be embarassed to have that thing in your garage. Now tell me where you live, and I'll come get it out of there for you. If I ever get done with the projects I have, I'm going to build a tri-5 Chevy truck.
Have you seen the Cameo conversions that are out now. They are so sweet. Ooops! I shouldn't have said that, you are going to want to keep your truck now...

Sweet! It looks great. What are your plans for it? I'm still undecided on a few things with mine. How's the interior?

Dash is perfect. No rust on floor or anything. But there is no seat. We are going to go with the '99+ Silverado seats. And a Ls1 motor with the 4L60E.

Lowered about 3-4" all the way around. I already has a 12 bolt posi rear end. It also has a 350 with a Muncie 4 spd.

Where you getting your LS1 from? If you need a connection, let me know. The only problem with an LS1 in that truck is the motor is so flat on top, it will look like it got squished.
We raised the LS1 in my Blazer quit a bit, and it still looks low. Your truck has a lot more height under the hood than mine. Maybe you should put one of these on it-

Looks like you got a great starting point, thats the one thing that I should have done was shopped around for one with minimal rust. Check the width on that 99 seat and you may find that it is to wide. And the engine bay will look sweet with a LS1 in it......I am Jealous! plus if you get cold you can crawl in next to it to keep warm.

Good Luck!
