will a 78 instrument bezel still fit if I put a 84 dash on
and can you die a stock dash a different colour? |

the guy I bought my 74 from put All 85 interior in it,,and I've dyed dash pad and headliner before usen Dupli Color it works as long as you clean the parts with warm soapy water before you spray.

cool can you give me some more info on dying it how,tricks,dupli colour # and are you actually dying it or spray bombing it?

It comes in a rattle can but its not paint,it really does work,the trick is to scrub every piece of what your gonna color,I set my dash pad in the bath tub and scrubbed the hell out it with dish soap and a vinyl brush,I practiced on a junk piece and when it dried I could'nt get it to scratch until I keyed it,this stuff is Dupli-Color made buy Sherwin Williams

That is one of the projects on my list: 81-84 Dash & instrument bezel. Good to know that it'll fit up. I've already got the newer style gauges out of an 85 and it looks very nice!!!
