Blacked out grill on 73-87?

Im thinking of a Blue truck, and would like to black the grill out. Anyone do this on a truck that wasnt black? Looks great on the black trucks but not sure on a colored one....
I will have black wheels anyone have pics?

Re: Blacked out grill on 73-87?

If it's a darker blue, you could probably pull it off as long as you either black out all the rest of the chrome trim or paint it blue to match.

The dealer could have done it...

Regardless...that is a good looking truck.
