Re: chrome finish?
I'm a little confused on the first part. Are you looking for a chrome polish? Or are you looking for a chrome part to cover something else up? If you're looking for a polish, english custom makes an awesome chrome polish:

What color vehicle are you going to be applying the wax on? I have a few recommendations, but like to tailor it a little to the color :)

Re: chrome finish?
For a dark metallic gray, I would start with red moose glaze to help that metallic show, then top with either nattys blue or carnauba moose wax. I think this will be an awesome combo on that color :)
