Re: rain x
I like to use it. It does however take a while to get off all of the film that is left.

Re: rain x
I take it off with a 6" buffer. Rarely leaves any film. If it does, then I hit it again the next day to allow the film to fully dry.

I use a microfiber to take it off and have no problems with leaving any film.

Re: rain x
if you take the time to wipe the excess off it works nice, can go down the highway in a rainstorm without the wipers on , well almost, cool to watch it bead right off

No contest, RainX rules.
If you are seeing a dirty film, you are probably not applying it right

Re: rain x
I like it when I'm going down the interstate, always worked fine on my last car but when I put it on my truck it made the wipers jump. I thought it was the wipers so I got some new ones, not the problem. I guess my truck dont like it or something.

Re: rain x
Apply it like wax, then after you take as much off as you can wet the glass and dry it with a towel. This gets all the extra film off and the Rain-X will still be on there.

Re: rain x
I've been using Rain-X for almost 15 years now. Love the stuff.

If you're having problems with the film lingering, get a sqirt bottle of clean watter and just lightly mist the windshield and then wipe it off with a dry paper towel. Works like a charm.
