A few wax/polishing questions
Just to start off im not using Zaino, just regular store bought stuff.
When im applying more than one coat of wax or polish, how long should i wait to apply the second coat? Also, ive heard that your supposed to use a damp terry cloth bonnet on a buffer instead of a dry one when removing wax, is that true? ![]()

You should be able to apply a second coat right away. The damp applicator is usually for putting the wax on, not taking it off. The damp applicator just helps make the wax last longer and spead easier. I've never heard using a damp bonnet to take it off, but I'm no expert either. Sounds like it would smear the wax instead of lift it.
If your thinking of apply a second sot to get more shine...try using a polish instead of a wax. Polish as many times as you want till you get the shine your after, then seal it with a good wax to keep i that way. |
