I removed the pinstripes on my Tahoe and now I can see a faint outline in the paint. What can I do to get rid of that? Do I need to use a rubbing compound or something like that? Thanks.

I had that problem when I first removed my pinstripes a few years back. All of the paint has faded slightly, but the pinstripes protected the paint that they were on, so it didn't fade any.

I removied mine and had the same problem, you can just go to Wal Mart and get some 3m adhesive remover and use it sparinly and itll come off, or it did for me. Dont try like simple green and crap cause they dont work!

I got to thinking about this thread. When I took mine off I noticed a definite outline. I clayed my truck that same day and it was gone instantly.
