Aluminum Polish
I have tried all of the over the counter brands of Aluminum Polish to polish my rims and none really do that good of a job. I have used mothers, eagle, meguiars, blue magic, wenol. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to use?

Thanks,

Re: Aluminum Polish
What kind of rims? Are they beat-up or good condition?

If they are in decent shape I really like 200MPH polish, 454ss bought me a bottle once and I'm hooked.

Re: Aluminum Polish
brand new. polished deep dish, spokes are painted gloss black, so a buffing wheel is out of the question.

Re: Aluminum Polish
Mine were completely dull and had water marks from someone using the wrong cleaner on them, but I bought a Mother's PowerBall and their PowerMetal Polish (I think that's what it's called ) and it did a pretty good job on them. You probably won't get super good results on the first polish if they're really dull.

Re: Aluminum Polish
Seeing that the spokes are painted, are you sure that there is not a clear coat on top of the polished aluminum? If there is then you would have to sand the clear off then polish. But you might mess up finish on spokes if you dont know what you are doing.
