buffing out scratches???
My friends dog jumped up on my truck on the driver side door the other day when i pulled into his driveway. I yelled for him to get down and he slid down scratching the driver door of my truck, It looks terrible. (chocolate lab)
If any of you know what the "monster energy" energy drink logo looks like, Imagine two of those down the whole side of your truck. Can i buff these out somehow? or any way to touch them up? Last edited by motocross57 : 10-19-2008 at 11:57 PM. |

Re: buffing out scratches???
is it through the paint into the primer, or just in the clear?

Re: buffing out scratches???
some rubbing compound on a wool pad, then on a foam pad should take it out. if not you may need to hit it with some clear touchup paint, then sand it with 1000/1500 grit and buff. If you do find that buffing only doesnt take it out, and don't feel comfortable doing the touchup paint, then a detailing shop will do it for a very fair price.
