I just took off my 20x9 liquid metal lithium 6 chrome rims for the winter and I am fixing to polish them and I was wondering if there is any need to polish inside of the rims? THANKS!!!

don't you mean wax or sealant...polish just helps remove crap but does nothing to protect it

Clean, polish, seal, wax... whatever you do, do something because the backside of wheels are often forgotten and neglected and I think cleaning that area up helps a detailed truck look even better. Might as well do something while you have easy access to that area.

Re: Do I need to polish the inside/backside of my Chrome Rims?
I also agree with a few earlier posts. Clean, polish, seal and wax. If you can keep a surface clean and waxed, oxidization is less likely to burrow into the materials surface. This is true for all surfaces, whether it be paint, aluminum or chrome.
Lets say you were to look at an older vehicle for example, and this particular vehicle has older paint that has seen only moderate care. You will physically feel a rough texture on the surface, this is due to small fragments that become embedded, or attached to the surface, then start to corrode. The use of a microscope will easily reveal small rusty fragments, which are the perfect place to start breaking down the surface directly around, and under the fragment. I have seen some extreme cases where this was very visible with the naked eye as well. This is why it is a good idea to use clay bars on painted surfaces, and generally keep all cosmetic surfaces clean.
I personally run my custom wheels all winter long, as most do I am sure. Last winter we had a reasonable amount of snow fall/icing conditions, which means they throw out salt/sand/spray chemicals all over the roads throughout the city. After months of this my wheels were looking stained and faded around the lips. No big deal right, just use a little wheel polish...Well I came to the conclusion that they are clear coated. I tried all kinds of polishes, some from the parts store, and a few that were only available online. Now, I do a fair amount of metal polishing, so I am aware of several methods to achieve a polished surface on paint and metals. I also tried course grit compound for polishing paints with a rotary buffer and this still did not cut through the etched appearance. And, it was still taking me about 15-30 minutes a wheel {not good}I then used BlingBros Polish, which I rubbed in by hand and let sit for a second, then wiped back off by hand. Just one application came out better than all the rest of the stuff I tried. One more coat brought them back to almost new again, which was a relief.
This process now takes me about 2-3 minutes, and I don't even have to work hard. This stuff is highly recommended, I have been using it on all types of metals, and it won't hurt urethane coatings either. I actually use it on the undetail of my motorcycle where the chain flips grease and oil. It easily cleans the grease off the surface and still leaves a shine on the paint, as opposed to using spray detailer, which does leave a shine, but smears and streaks the grease/oil, and solvents just strip everything off the surface, usually leaving a slightly dulled finish where applied. Anyway, that was a lot to read haha, hope someone gets some good from it atleast:)

Does the Gixxer have any exhaust or is terminated where it exits the lower fairing? That's gotta be beyond earplugs required loud.

No, it's not as bad as you would think really. When I built this muffler I installed a baffle as well, so between that and the baffling left inside the original mid-pipe it is not really any worse than a D&D in my opinion.

I don't know what it is about D&D's but they make anything sound like it has some loose valves. Just a horrible exhaust brand.

While we are on the subject of bikes. Mine has a Yoshimura system and my brother's has the highly sought after Sato's.

Anything you can do to your wheels to clean and protect them is a good plan,A little maintenence will help them to stay nice longer.Trust me I have had to bring ALOT of neglected wheels back from the dead,Clean,Polish and protect. It will pay off in the long run!!!
