Frame channel packed with mud

OK long story short, I sunk my truck a couple months ago. This was back in june and I'm still cleaning the mud out.

it seems no matter how many pressure washes and purple power i use the damn dirt will NOT go away!

the entire frame channel (both sides) is packed with mud. ive gone over every inch my hand fits in and cleaned. STILL DIRTY!

a few days later after washing it ill look under there and everything will be dirty again!

im hoping some of you hardcore detailers know of some trick to cleaning the frame/underbody. the purple power works great on the engine and underbody but doesn't seem to break down the dirt inside the frame.

1)take your box off
2)clean mud out
3)paint frame
4)put box back on

Re: Frame channel packed with mud

Spray with APC and set a lawn sprinkler under the truck for a while. Move it around so it sprays the underbody at different angles.

Re: Frame channel packed with mud

Pretty much the main reason why my truck wont see any mudholes. It would drive me crazy having mud come out from underneath it for months afterwards...

Re: Frame channel packed with mud

good luck......
i guess you could always get some heavy duty plastic and wrap your frame rails ;)
thats if you really like mudding and not detoured... just keep wraping it round and round the frame and then do the other side. but be sure its heavy duty plastic and make it as tight as posible so it wont make any flapping noise driving. ;)

Re: Frame channel packed with mud

Leave it to fall off itself or crawl under there with a puddy knife and start scraping.

Re: Frame channel packed with mud

Out of sight out of mind is what I would do. However I would imagine that taking the bed off would be the easiest way.
