Running an 04 lly with 37s under it has no problem turning the tires now after I installed the edge juice.

When you guys say limp the tranny, does that mean your clutch is slipping and you have to go down to a lower setting so it grabs? Or does it mean you are wrecking the internals?

Re: Diesel Tuners: What do you want or have?
I just bought a a diablo sport for my LBZ and just tried it on the tow mode, I think 45hp and what a huge diffrence in fuel economy alone, I gained roughly 3mpg and out of the hole is amazing, when the truck gets her new tranny ( warranty issue) I plan to run her up to 65hp and see what it does, alot of people are saying they are hitting limp mode on 85 and 120 setting, I can't afford a tranny upgrade yet so i'll stick to 45 or 65 setting for now. But cheers to all the manufactures for putting out great products at prices that everyday blue collar workers can afford. I just wish that canadian pricing would be more closer to american with our dollar so close to par.

as soon as my taxes get back im ditching the hypertech and getting the new E-power tuner from ATS. its almost exactly the same as the PPE Hot ET+2 but several hundred dollars cheaper. its actually built by PPE just with ATS made tunes but from what im hearing its a great tuner. 10 power levels up to +350HP/530TQ over stock all for only $520! i cant wait!:

Limp mode is a saftey built into the Allison. It kicks in when there is too much stress on the tranny. It will say "shift range inhibited" on you DIC. You will not be able to go over 2000 RPM's, and more than likely you will only have third and reverse gear.

On topic: I have the Banks Six-Gun w/PDA. I think it's the best thing since sliced bread.
"2005" 2500HD, LT3, 4x4, CC/SB, 6.6L Duramax LLY, Allison, 6" Tuff country lift, 315/75/R16 tires on 16" MKW wheels, Banks Six-Gun w/PDA, Banks Ram Air intake and 5" exhaust, Billet Grill, SS wind deflector, leather, power everything.
