It is free to join at www.dieselplace.com ......better try again...

www.thedieselpage.com charges its members a fee - don't go there.....

As for your problem - glow plugs check out ok?....you might just need to get some new fuel in it - run some heavy shots of power service through it to clean up the fuel system....

Re: New Needs Help First Diesel
if its white smoke its water in your system. replace your fuel filter, get new fuel, and ALOT OF FUEL SYSTEM CLEANER!! going by what you stated about it sitting most of the time there will be alot of water in the fuel tank. you will need to drain your water seperator (if equipped on the 6.2, i'm not certain). if it has one it should be by your fuel filter. water is attracted to diesel fuel for some odd reason (thats y the "water in fuel" light is in the dash.

ps... great buy, if you can get the motor runnin great then you spent less than what the motor alone is worth.

Re: New Needs Help First Diesel
FYI - off road fuel/farm fuel does not smoke any more than pump diesel....
