Best D-Maxx air intake?
my dad has 2500 more kms left until he can mod his D-Maxx plans are 20 DeModa Intimidator II blk,machined on 35 Toyo M/T, Some kind Of lift not too much because of oilfield towing.New intake,MBRP 5 Exhaust,

the best one is the stock one. the aftermarket intakes either have ZERO gain or a big loss. the best thing to do is modify the stock one. drill some holes in the bottom support plate and the bottom of the air box. its free and better than anything you can buy

X2 or a stock one off the 06s but the filters ain't cheap.

ive got the aem brute force, got a really good deal on a new one on ebay so i went for it, no huge gains or anything like that but it did seem to smooth out the power delivery and help the engine feel less restricted after i tuned it with the hypertech, and it sounds pretty cool too.

03 GMC 2500 HD crew duramax, 6" full traction lift. 37/13.5/20 Toyo Open Country MT's, ATS E-Power tuner, AEM intake, Stage 3 allison
452 RWHP/755 TQ verified on superflo dyno, 7/19/08 (ATS level 10) and thanks to Chuggs for the sig!

aFe Stage 2's not bad IMO - don't know if anybody here's had bad experience w/ it, but they seem to be more in-tune w/ diesels than others...
Drive it like I stole it? Why slow down?
