Exclamation Engine Troubles
First Off: 2005 Dmax Crew Cab 4x4

I Went Camping Up At Pismo Beach Last Week, Good Times Out There Rode My Quads Got Drunk.... Like I Said Good Times Until The Drive Home. I Was Pulling A 30ft Gearbox And Started Up A Hill When All The Sudden The Truck Started Shaking And Dropped From 80mph To 40!! The Check Engine Light Came On So I used the onstar crap to see what was wrong the said i had an error code for the intake and turbo. Took It To The Dealer They Said Nothing Is Wrong With It, I Made Them Keep It And Look Again.... The Truck Has No Power What So Ever It Couldnt Even Pull A Jeep Right Now.. Anybody Have A Clue What Might Be Wrong With It???

Re: Engine Troubles
IS it smoking badly? When was your last fuel filter change?

Re: Engine Troubles
I would still change the filter before anything else, ask your dealer what codes the truck set, then repost. Also there were a few cases of wires in the #2 and #7 injector harness breaking inside the insulation, shutting down one group of injectors (4). Find out what you can and repost, and then maybe we can help you more.

Re: Engine Troubles
X2
But even 1 batch of bad fuel will plug a new filter and 12K is a little long. You should cut the next one open and if your filter element is more then 3/4 used you should change it sooner.
