I think the issue with the Edge is heat you need to take precautions to try and keep it cool.

I'm pretty sure that's what it is, and to me it would be common sense to keep it as cool as possible - not everybody has a generous helping of common sense, though, so you'd think Edge would stress that in their instructions. Especially considering how many seem to be failing now.
