LBZ Tune ??
OK, picking up my LBZ Friday and looking at just a tuner for now so I can adjust for tire size and do codes.

Don't need or want crazy power but a bit more is always nice. Will do some light towing in the future too.

I see the Predators are out and liked it for my 1500HD although the tire size was way off!

Then there is the Edge but don't tink I need to go that far.

The Exhaust and Intake stock should do about everything I need from wat I read here.

Also, what about the boost kits for the Turbo or do they work not the VVT at all?

THX

I would go with an edge kit, you dont have to get the monitor but its nice to get just their chip. You can still adjust power levels just not on the fly.

Intake and exhaust will also wake your truck up nicely. PM me for prices.

Re: LBZ Tune ??
There is no need to replace the stock intake and you would feel any more power from an exhaust, but is a good idea. If you add any power to a stock LBZ tranny you will most likely damage it in fewer than 100K. And the Edge isn't out for the 06s yet anyways.

Re: LBZ Tune ??
Finally got it today and I see little need for the intake. Smooth bends all the way in from what I can see.

So maybe a mild tune and exhaust for it. Don't want to go as far as the edge, plus the cost.

A bigger tank may be in the future too, but MPG was even good with just 100 miles on it.

Dozer's right - Edge isn't out yet. That being said, if you're planning on turning the truck up with electronics gauges are highly recommended - even if you're not turning it up, it never hurts to know exactly what's going on with your truck. If the Edge seems cost prohibitive (which it really can't since there's no product or pricing), figure that you'd also be getting a set of gauges along with it.

The Edge should be out this year yet and IIRC should be ~$850.

Re: LBZ Tune ??
I head so much good and bad about the edge. Big thing is the warranty too. I do like the gauges part. I am fitting larger rims/tires but don't think the edge allows me to adjust, right?

Still leaning to the Diablo both for price and options and I don't need crazy power.

Options still ooen though.

They were saying end of last month originally, then early this month for their tuner & late September for the Juice w/ Attitude. Then again, the A2 wasn't out until about a year and a half after the originally thought - 6 months after they debuted it on Trucks TV...
