stock torque converter or ?????????
My transmission (th400) in my cucv m1008 is totally shot. I am being told by a transmission rebuild shop that the stock allison style torque converter is not very good. He suggests a converter that costs over 500 dollars. Is the allison style converter that bad? Why not rebuild it and get a bad-ass transmission to go with it.
6.2l diesel th400 and a 208 t-case.
