what is the mpg for a 2wd 2500 diesel
that is the mpg for a stock and modified 99-07 durmax 2wd auto or manual . 2500hd

right now my DIC reads 18.4 mpg with 37K miles, Stock.

i'm a little over 500 hp and i see about 16.8
 yea it's a diesel, yea it's bagged, and yea it has stacks. if you don't like it ask daddy to buy you one and build it your own way.

ive seen a best of 20 mpg usally average about 18-19 it was a little worse before tunning. I get about 13 towing my carhauler

Manuals seem to get a little better, but 2WD doesn't do much better then a 4WD.

I get average of 18 mpg. I got the 07 3500HD 4x4. I don't know what my town and highway is. I drive about 50/50 city/highway. I just figure out the average at the pump each time. I would of thought the 2wd would of got better mileage. But maybe not. Love my truck though. Wish I had a jake brake for it lol. Then she would sound like a detroit diesel coming down the hill.

Today I was on a 100 mile round trip got 22 mpg highway.
