Sorry guys i've been a while getting back as i didn't want to tempt fate but i can say that the problem seems to be sorted Must say thanks to all who offered advice as i was totaly lost

1 Question does the item i fitted lower the mpg? as i'm sure its uesing more fuel now, Could just be i'm getting less for my money now

Did you replace the resistor? If you went with 9, you will be fueling more = less mpg, but more Torque!


96' K2500HD 6.5l TD, Heath PMD, Turbo Master, Mand. Bent X-Over Pipe, 4" Flo Pro Exhaust, Vac Pump Removed Belt # 4061000 = 100", 04' Dmax wheels w/ 265's
99' Silverado 5.3l Z71, 265's with Cooper STT's

I just fitted the heath diesel kit, Not sure about a resistor is there some thing i should know?

I think you have to install it on the pump somewhere? I'm not sure where it goes. Odds are you didn't, so its prolly cause you can't keep your foot out of it now.

Prolly just drining hard. Well what are getting per km/h? What size gears do you have? I looked at you limo website(nice pics by the way) you prolly have 4:10s, which i have and i get roughly 17 mpg(27.36 km/h).

No idea what i'm getting to the gallon it just seems less now since i fitted the new part, I do the same kind of runs all the time.
