Quick question.
Okay guys. I have had this long running argument with my mother in-law about her truck. She has an 07 OBS 2500 Dmax. She complains that when she gets past 3/4 throttle it starts to smoke a bit. I told her thats norm. Any input? She is sending it to an indy next week to get it checked out. I keep telling her she's crazy. What do you guys think?

Re: Quick question.
My 07 3500 will smoke little past half pedal, It's just unburnt fuel. Theres nothing you can really do to fix it other then not touch the pedal. Plain and simple, when a diesel engine works, It smokes.

On my 2005 2500, that has no catalytic converter or nothing on it. That baby makes a beautiful smoke cloud. Eventually I'm going to put stacks on that one. Still haven't found a truck box for it yet.

Re: Quick question.
If you drive easy for a while and them hammer on it they will smoke a bit stock. From all the soot building up in the exhaust.
