Re: Hypertech vs. PPE econ.
pretty sure the econ PPE will defuel, and ive heard nothing but good about PPE. also you already know that i was happy with the hypertech that i had so either one would probably be a good choice. my new ATS epower defuels on the lower settings and i can turn defuel on or off on the higher level settings which is pretty cool.

ya know on second thought you might want to check into the PPE a little more cause it probably has more features than the hypertech as far as being able to check balance rates and watch engine parameters which is all stuff the hypertech cant do. not sure if the economy PPE has that stuff like their Hot ET but it would be worth checking into. maybe give them a call, ive heard they have great customer service.

Re: Hypertech vs. PPE econ.
are you open to other options/opinions? i would go with a custom tune for the amount you are going to be paying for a handheld. and you will get MUCH better results.
wheatley tuned, catless corsa sport, s&b, ls1 efans, truetrac out back w f/r 4.10s, vette servo...lil this, lil that
