Yea they put the GM SM465 behind the 4bt in some bread/chip trucks. IIRC its the same flywheel on a 6bt and they're dime-a-dozen.
What in particular do you want to read up on? I can prob answer most of your questions...

Nope.
BD,banks, Pacbrake .... all make them but you have to have a TIGHT torque converter or a manual trans for it to work and not heat stuff up...

Looks like the swap may already be over. Garrett wants to keep a V8 in the truck and use the 4Bt in something smaller.
