Because most shops will replace the pump when the only thing wrong is the PMD. Replacing the pump brings in a lot more labor than just plugging in a new PMD.

Yea i've maybe seen ONE but it had crank windows and vinyl floors....so you got the newer interior and its fully loaded with a 5spd... i prefer the 454 just for the power

IIRC GM had a special coverage policy on the 6.5 pumps so if there was any question at all they got a new pump.

Re: Military 6.5T Pickup

The warrenty is 11 years or 160,000 miles. It's not easy to get GM to honour it though. The fuel tank must be spotless on the inside as well as the fuel filter bowl area.

I'm gonna replace the carpet with vinyl flooring next year, I think. Mud and snow just make the carpet look terrible. Vinyl cleans up nicely. I have kids so there is no keeping dirt out of the interior! LOL

Re: Military 6.5T Pickup

I don't have pics of the interior right now, but I'll get some...

This is with a 3" b/l and 36X14.5 Ground Hawgs. The tires were used to check fitment...They don't fit. LOL I need 2" or some trimming. In the future I'm thinking a 3" leveling kit and some 36X12.5 swampers.

Hope you like it! :)

Bill
