Re: The Official Silverado SS bumper information thread!!
would this fit on the 2000 body style Silverado? Also I have a 2500 4x4 any difference there? I have been dying to put an SS body kit on it.

Re: The Official Silverado SS bumper information thread!!
alrite heres the thing...i have a 2004 ECSB silverado Z71 with factory fender flares...i love the look of painted bumpers and the SS body...i was wondering if i could put the SS side moldings on my truck with the factory fender flares, along with front and rear bumpers without a problem

IT would look goofy as hell. I don't know if it would work though. Why not just take the flares off? Thats like mixing two different looks right? Also you would need to get the rear bumper cover at leist b/c it goes with the cladding. Personally I would get both. Or I have seen SS roll pans before also.

Re: The Official Silverado SS bumper information thread!!
I think this question was already asked in this thread, but I don't think I saw an answer to that yet...
Since it's time to replace the front bumper on my 03 RCSB Silverado (due to this young girl depositing her New Beetle into my bumper yesterday), does the SS bumper cover just go over the OEM bumper or what is the deal there?
Also, my truck is burgundy (what ever it's officially called). Anybody ever done the SS mod to this colored truck? Pics? Would like to see what it looks like.
Thanks for any info you guys could share on this.
 rocks!!!

Re: The Official Silverado SS bumper information thread!!
i bought the Street Scene SS bumper cover for a few hundred bucks...then i banged the dents out of the stock chrome bumper and put it on (it goes over the old bumper without the upper and lower valances)
I did this beacuse it was cheaper then replacing the stock one...

Re: The Official Silverado SS bumper information thread!!
I was wondering about the aftermarket SS style bumper covers, are they a lot bigger then the stock SS bumper? I mean would it look over sized if I had just the front bumper cover on, compared to the rest of the body all shaved down? Also isn't there a way to keep the tow hooks? would they fit in the open area between the intakes, if I didn't put in a grill?
Thanks in advance for the help..

If it's a street scene cover you don't need brackets, and there is a good chance SS brackets won't work on the street scene cover
