dude do you even have a NNBS truck, or even seen your little buddies shop do this oven trick on the GMT-900's!?
because do you know how many people tried it on the NNBS and ended up screwin up there headlights? and dont even say that it was their fault because you CAN NOT do it on the NNBS!
i love when people try to prove others wrong and sh*t they dont know a damn thing about.
Im followin these steps when I do mine in the next couple weeks.

Re: How too clear NNBS GMT900 07-08 Silverado Headlights
I just did mine last night and I love it! It looks so much better! I have tried the oven trick on other lights and just did not like it. Maybe I was doing it wrong but it was always just a pain in the a$$, this worked great. JB, you are the man! This is a great sticky. I will shoot some pics up by monday!

Nice...cant wait to see it
one reason the oven method doesnt work is these are so big with brackets hanging down/up they will barely fit in an oven and almost touch the heating elements...they will melt before the glue loosens and stink up your whole house.

What if a large walk-in oven was used and the lights were suspended from a wire? I could try it in Rich's walk-in powdercoating oven. I would MUCH rather do it that way if it would work instead of

I went out and bought a dremel tool cause I figured it would be a handy thing to have. That and the silicone was under $50. I started at pulling them out of teh truck at about 4:00 pm and could have had them back in the truck by 9 or 10 that night if I needed to go somewhere, but I didn't so I just let them sit over night.

Also, I could have done if faster but with trying to take my time and do it right and also playing with my son and fixing him dinner and putting him to bed that all took some time too.

yeah, Id rather borrow a dremel from my gfs dad or my grandpa instead of investing money on it for something like that. and I figure if it took you about 5 hours, itll prolly take me longer, like 10 hours lol. I will prolly do it one of these coming up sundays or teusdays because those are the only days I dont work and I will have the whole day to myself to do it. Id definatly looks killer on your truck, I have been meaning to get around to doing it, but never got a chance.

Re: How too clear NNBS GMT900 07-08 Silverado Headlights
$327? Who said anything about trying on my existing headlights? I was thinking of buying a busted one on ebay for like $30-40 and trying it..and if it worked I would be THE MAN ...

Re: How too clear NNBS GMT900 07-08 Silverado Headlights
Ok..well..maybe I'll try it, and won't tell anyone whether it worked or not.. then when my headlights are painted matte textured black I'll let you guys wonder if they were cut or not.
