Re: Exterior questions. Grill/rims/tires/roof rack
alright boys.
1- im not painting them black again. they're black on every other tahoe/suburban. why go back to what it looks like stock? and if you guys see it in person...both colors are metallic with a fine silver flake in the clearcoat. the pillars are just another spot it shines ;)

2- i live in alaska, i kinda need the defrosters :S

3-phatspeed7x...i'm not looking to follow what other people have done, don't get me wrong i love his burb but i wanna do something other poeple havent...well at least what few people have.

4- thats too bad about the caddy tail lights not fitting... i might do tear drop tail lights but i dont know...the led strip just doesnt sound as cool

5-new question...
i've asked this in another forum but apparently no one knows the answer but i'll try again...
what am i looking at shaving the tailgate? i'm guessing i'll take it into someone whos really knows what their doing b/c i'm scared to mess with the locks and stuff

11 years old and nicely shaven... Wait...

Don't really know exactly. I have barn doors on the 'Hoe, so I can't use mine for reference. But exterior-wise, you're going to be looking at a filler panel, and the same treatment as filling any handle. Innard-wise, I believe if you're not worried about not being able to open from the outside, you could get away with simply using a PU relocator. Otherwise, you're going to have to get into some form of electrical popper/lowering mechanism for your lock/open.

For shaving your tailgate i would talk to LOWZ71 he works at a shop in anchorage and they do really good work.

Check out this thread for pics of flushmounted leds bars, just if you did it it would be longer and in your pillers.

Mine is a 42 gallon. Haven't filled it since I went to Charlotte N.C. last year.
LMC truck only lists a 42.

At $4+ a gallon, no, I do not fill it up. and I do not drive it that much. If I filled it up, I would have to fill out a credit application at the pump.
