Wheel Spacer on 97
After I put my 265 BFGs on 16X8 eagle rims 4.25 BS on my 97 Gmc, the back tires seem a little tucked behind the fender. The front looks fine, but I would like the back to stick out farther. I am not changing my tires nor rims.
What do you guys think about wheel spacers? I am looking at some on ebay that are cnc machined aluminum and have grade 8 carbon steel studs and are 1.5 inches thick. Do you think this is a good idea or what? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

Re: Wheel Spacer on 97
My tires seem to be way back under the fender. The truck is a 3/4 ton so it has fender flares.

Re: Wheel Spacer on 97
I've run wheel spacers on my 02 Explorer for over a year with no problems, even towed a trailer w/ quad and dirtbikes. Just gotta check em every so often to make sure they don't loosen. Loctite helps on the inner lugs. I have em on my Silverado also. If you are going to tow heavy or do alot of offroading then I would shy away from em. More things to break. But for daily driver, no problem.
