Escalade 18's
So I just snagged some 18 inch takeoffs from an escalade off Ebay. They supposedly have less than 20 miles on them. The company even has chevy bowtie center caps (but they're on backorder).

I believe they are 265/65/18 tires. I bought them for my '01 Silverado.

I have some concerns about theft issues, because I have to park my truck on the street.

I want to get some locking lug nuts, and an alarm system.

I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction on lug nuts. Anyone know the size?

Also, I did a search on these issues, but I never found anyone who would say definitely that these wheels will tuck if I ever get a chance to bag this truck.

Also, I know this should probably go in electrical, but what do alarms run?

If you take it to any wheel and tire shop they can give you the diameter (LUG) SIZE.

And charge me a lot more than it would be to just buy them myself.

Just pic up a 4-pac of McGuard locks. 14 x 1.5 is what you need. Alarm wise go with a DEI product. They manufacture a bunch of different brand but they are basicly all the same. Python,Rattler,Viper,Ungo,Clifford,ATS and so on.

x2, I have a Viper 5900 Remote start, keyless, and alarm and love it! but that was around $600. Viper's basic alarm and keyless run's $230 INSTALLED at your local best buy

Re: Escalade 18's
Thanks guys. I have two things I really want in an alarm. First off, I want some type of alarm or signal in the keychain, because I want to know if I'm in the shop if my car is being tampered with in the lot. The other thing I would like to have is a few extra buttons to integrate power door locks and/or door poppers if I go shaved, and maybe some other accessories.

Big thanks on the lug size. That's the info I was looking for.

Anyone know if these will tuck?

Look, I did a search and nobody ever answers this question, so I'm gonna keep bumping the damn thing 'til someone does.
