265/35, 265/40 if you have lots of backspacing.

Re: what size tire...22
I have a 265/40 I have ran a 275/55/20 I was hoping I could get a 285/45/22 or at least a 275/45/22. I really want the 45 sidewall.

Somehow I missed the stock height part.

Out of those two I'd go with the 275/45, the 285 is too tall.

Re: what size tire...22
Mike, a 285/45/22 would be taller than a 275/45/22. The "45" is a percentage. So for a 285/45/22, the side wall would be 45% the height of the width. So, the side wall would be 285mm x 40%. Sidewall would approximately be: 128.25mm or 5.05 inches. The 275/45 would be roughly 4.87 inches. Keep in mind this number may not always represent actual height, but it should get you close.

Thanks for the tip. I think I can run a 285/45 no problem.

But why do you want to run a tire that's 2" taller than stock?
