Re: Going to paint the fenderwells!!
I went to AutoZone and bought rubberized undercoating and used that. It's inexpensive, tough and it looks good.

I painted the metal part that's inside the fenderwells.

All the black you see used to be white.

See?

Re: Going to paint the fenderwells!!
Yea, I'll post a few although I don't know if I have a straight on side shot.

In some of the pictures I have a bull bar and a bike rack. I've since removed both and only install the rack when I ride.

Re: Going to paint the fenderwells!!
take it to get powdercoated or scuff it up and spray it with bedliner or spray paint. powdercoating would be the best route if you want a durable finish that you don't have to touch up every couple weeks. the only problem with powdercoating is that it's expensive. depending on the box you have, it might be better to sell the polished one and buy a black one.

Re: Going to paint the fenderwells!!
It's a UWS tool-box.

I bought it for $200.00. I'm not sure if I could get that out of it though, it's been rode hard and put up wet!

Re: Going to paint the fenderwells!!
what he said ^. a professional bedliner like line-x or powdercoat are probably about the same for durability. it just depends what kind of finish you want. if you want glossy black, powdercoat it. if you want a textured black, go bedliner. just make sure they add UV protector if you get it bedlinered. otherwise it will fade and turn grey very quickly.
